We invite you to join us for A Midsummer Château Dream, an enchanting 6-night retreat where fairytales come to life and magic lingers in the air. Set in the heart of summer, this immersive experience will transport you to a world of wonder within the walls of our 13th-century château.
Bask in the golden light of midsummer as you and a group of kindred spirits step into the roles of ethereal fairies, historic legends, and fairy tale characters. With the château as your backdrop, you’ll create breathtaking art during three editorial photoshoot sessions led by Autumn Luciano. Together, we’ll celebrate the power of self-expression through personal styling, storytelling, and character exploration.
This retreat is your opportunity to revel in timeless themes and bask in summertime in France. Each day brings a blend of artistry, indulgence, and camaraderie, leaving you with lifelong memories and stunning portraits.

Three Fantasy Photoshoots: Step into editorial-style scenes inspired by midsummer fairies, whimsical forests, and enchanting fairytales. Autumn will guide you through wardrobe consultations and pose direction to bring out your inner muse. 3 Portraits are included in the retreat package.
Immersive Château Life: Embrace a château lifestyle for a week while bonding with fellow fantasy lovers over decadent meals, garden parties, and festive midsummer celebrations.
Magical Events & Gatherings: Dance under the stars, enjoy a fairy-lit woodland feast, and participate in creative workshops on hairstyling and accessorising to perfect your look for each photoshoot.
Explore the Region: Take a day trip to a nearby French village for antique shopping and scenic inspiration, followed by a riverside lunch at a local café.
Historic Accommodations: Stay in one of the château bedrooms, with private and share bathroom options available. Discounts available for friends sharing a room.

For a second participant sharing a room | additional €3,950
If you wish to share a room with a friend- the price for the second participant is an additional 3,950 euros added to whichever room package you choose to cover their participation, transport, dining and photography. If you let us know that you'd like to add a roommate, we will adjust the booking system and have it charge each roommate evenly. Please note only the rooms which say Double Occupancy available can accommodate two guests. The Toile rooms have one Queen bed, and the King Room has a king bed, and can accomodate the addition of the cot.

Included with All Rooms
3 Editorial Portraits: 3 Fully edited, retouched portraits, high resolution digital format, delivered after retreat.
Accommodations: Private bedroom at Château de Puy Vidal.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks (including coffee, tea, aperitif cocktails, French wines, and 24/7 access to a coffee and snack bar) throughout the 7-night workshop.
Supplies: We provide curling irons, hot rollers, bobby pins, some hair accessories like diamond and pearl bobby pins, roses for rococo hair, steamers to steam out costumes, and a large lit makeup mirrors at station per participant.
Facilities: Full access to the Chateau de Puy Vidal estate- salons, common rooms, art studio, formal french gardens, pool, and hot tub.
Shuttle Service: Complimentary pick-up and drop-off at Angoulême Train Station, just 18 minutes from Château de Puy Vidal.
Supportive Environment: A safe, inspiring atmosphere encouraging creativity, play and self-expression.
Event Photography: Complimentary in-house event photography to capture and preserve the candid moments of your experience.
Not Included
Flights: Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights.
Train Travel: Participants must arrange their own train transportation.
Insurance: We strongly recommend obtaining travel and health insurance, as these are not provided.
