A Week of Creative Freedom for our Retreat Alumni

We are thrilled to invite you to our exclusive Artist Circle Week at Château de Puy Vidal – a dedicated time for past retreat participants to immerse themselves in creative pursuits within the serene and inspiring setting of the Château. This special week is designed for returning artists who wish to delve deeper into their work without instruction, surrounded by a supportive community of fellow creatives.

Artist Circle Week offers the freedom to explore your artistic passions – whether it’s painting, photography, filmmaking, writing, sculpture, design, content creation, or any other medium – while enjoying the tranquil ambiance of the Château. Optional open studios, collaborative critiques, and shared meals create opportunities for connection and inspiration.

Included with All Rooms

• Accommodations: Bedroom at Château de Puy Vidal.
• Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks (including coffee, tea, French wines, and 24/7 access to a coffee and snack bar) throughout the 6-night artists circle residency.
• Art Supplies: Provided are easels, canvases, lightweight tripods, palettes, solvents, aprons, carry bags, painting stools, and an assortment of still-life objects. Shareable oil paint tubes are available in the studio.
• Facilities: Full access to the Puy Vidal Art Studio, salons, gardens, pool, and hot tub. Feel free to explore and paint anywhere on the estate.
• Shuttle Service: Pick-up and drop-off at Angoulême Train Station, 18 minutes from Château de Puy Vidal.
• Creative Environment: A welcoming, collaborative atmosphere that encourages creativity and artistic connection.

Not Included

• Flights: Participants are responsible for arranging their own flights.
• Train Travel: Participants must arrange their own train transportation.
• Insurance: We strongly recommend obtaining travel and health insurance, as these are not provided.
